Ideally children develop their movement skills in a specific sequence but sometimes for various reasons they do not.

Some children suffer injury or illness which limits the movements which they previously were able to achieve due to pain, nervous system disease, breathing issues or joint disease.

Here at Cairns Children’s Clinic our physiotherapist provides play-based, fun sessions using massage, exercise and equipment recommendations to assist children to reach their full potential and to protect them from sustaining injuries in the first place.

Paediatric conditions which our physiotherapist can help with include:

  • In toeing
  • Out toeing
  • Toe walking

  • Clumsiness
